Swimmers 4-18 years old are welcome to join one of 11 teams throughout the Greater Richmond and Petersburg areas. Swimmers must be able to complete the length of the pool without stopping, touching the bottom or holding on to the lane line or wall. A Skilled coaching staff will help your child with stroke technique and endurance while incorporating the four core values of caring, honesty, respect, and responsibility into their workout regimen. With YMCA Swim Teams, everybody swims, everybody wins.

The fall half season runs from September through December. This season includes four regular meets, one specialty meet (Autumn Splash) and the Holiday Classic Meet in December. Additional fees apply for the specialty meets. The winter half season runs January through March.  this season includes four regular meets,  and swim champs in March.  Additional fees may apply for swim champs.  We are currently planning a summer swim team for 2011.  Stay tuned for more details.
